Helping The Homeless Wigan, are a small Charity with a big heart.

Providing a vital lifeline of food, friendship and hope to the vulnerable and homeless people in and around Wigan.

People sleep rough every night - in parks, stairwells, under bridges and worse. But there are many more you don't see - spending the night on buses, on sofas or in the homes of strangers. They're escaping abuse, violence, gangs and fear. Many are homeless because they can't live with their family, or they have no family.

Helping The Homeless Wigan was founded by Dawn and Lana in 2016.

'I couldn't take seeing the rise of homeless in Wigan and decided to set up a Charity to try and help, by giving out food and clothes . Being homeless only has to mean a blip in someone's life and they CAN get back on their feet with the right support'

— Dawn French Co-Founder

'Homeless People are not the problem. They are the result of the problem'

— Lana Nocker Co-Founder
